Part-time Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science


Dr Neveen ElSayed is the founder and director of ARC innovation lab, Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Benha University. The research lab initiated in March 2018 in the Faculty of Computer and Artificial intelligence Benha university (BFCI). The lab conducts researches in augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Big Data, and Wearable.

Neven awarded the Mike Miller Medal as the outstanding thesis of the year 2017.

Elsayed’s academic qualifications include the following: B.A. and M.S. in Computer Engineering, Benha University. Neven accomplished a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of South Australia, with research publications awarded the best research papers. One of the research papers chose as “One of the 21st Annual Best of Computing Notable Books and Articles”, ACM, the year 2016. Neven research interests include situated analytics, visual analytics, information visualization in augmented reality, user interfaces, and augmented reality interactions.
