Dr. Nesma Ammar

Dr. Nesma Ammar has a Ph.D. in Marketing from the German University in Cairo (GUC), Egypt. Her research interests include consumer psychology, sustainable consumption, young consumers, consumerism, ethics, and education. She is interested in researching the new trend of social marketing and its role in enhancing consumers’ well-being, the impact of materialism on consumer values and bridging the gap between theory and practice. She has attended several international conferences and participated in different research projects. Her recent publications include Ammar, N., El-Bassiouny, N., & Hawash, R. (2016). Materialism healthy food consumption: Can health education play a role? Social Business, 6(4), 377-401.
