Dr. Mohamed A. Salama


Assistant Vice President Academic Planning


Mohamed Salama is the Associate Dean for the school of Engineering and Design. He has previously worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The American University in Cairo (AUC) Teaching Construction Engineering courses to undergraduate students as well as being an Assistant Professor at Helwan University Teaching Structural Engineering courses. His research interests include seismic design, the use of FRP, structural modeling, innovative structural systems.

He graduated from The American University in Cairo with a bachelor of science in Construction Engineering. He earned his Masters of Science degree in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo and his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
