Dr. Amr Nassr


Associate Professor in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering


Dr. Amr Nassr acquired both his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Structural Engineering at McMaster University in Canada. Additionally, he completed his JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship in Structural Dynamics Laboratory, Department of Civil and Earth Resources Engineering, at Kyoto University in Japan. Dr. Nassr’s Master’s research focused on Structural Health Monitoring in Composite and Retrofitted Structures using Sensor Technology, and his Ph.D. research was in the area of the protection of infrastructures against blast loading. Dr. Nassr was previously a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering at Assiut University in Egypt. Besides, he is a Certified Professional Engineer, “P.ENG.”
